Exec Exclusive: Alis Louviere
Hey guys! I’m Alis Louviere and I’m the Panhellenic Relations Director of Alpha Xi Delta! I have the privilege of acting as the voice of Alpha Xi at the University Panhellenic Council (UPC) meetings at UT. I am also currently on the UPC community service committee, where I work with UPC’s philanthropy Circle of Sisterhood. My favorite part of my position is making relationships with other sororities and Greek organizations. I have made so many amazing friends in different sororities, an opportunity I otherwise wouldn’t have had if it weren’t for my position. I love what I do, and I have so much fun with my Panhellenic sisters!
Alpha Xi Delta came at just the right time for me. I was so overwhelmed entering college, and instantly my sisters gave me all the support I needed. They continue to do so everyday, and it truly amazes me how much everyone in the sorority truly cares for each other. I am so grateful for our Beta Alpha family and the beautiful community of sorority women we have on campus. That's why I ran for Panhellenic Delegate. I wanted to be able to highlight what a fabulous group of women I have in Alpha Xi Delta, as well interact with the other sororities that make the UT Panhellenic community as strong as it is today.
Here are some facts about me! I’m a San Antonio girl living it up in Austin as a first year Psychology major. I’m a pre-med college student, and I aspire to one day become a pediatric oncologist. Growing up with a mom with cancer, I have seen the disease through a child's perspective. This is what fuels my passion, and what will hopefully help a lot of kids in the future. In addition to being ambitions, I live for sushi, roller coasters, sunflowers, as well as bean and cheese tacos. I love being a Longhorn even though I’ve never seen the albino squirrel, and the Austin allergies hate me. But, I love being an Alpha Xi Delta the most!
XOXI,
Alis
