This month’s Miss Quill is PC 17’s Megan Owens! Megan is a sophomore from Llano, Texas. She is a Textile and Apparel major with a minor in Interior Design—basically this means she has AMAZING taste, and if you ever see her in person, you can’t help but agree. Favorite Thing About Your Council Position: I love clothes, and I want all my Xisters to be lookin’ good! It’s super fun to keep up with all the Greek life fashions and be able to keep my sisters ahead of the trends!

Favorite Memory in Alpha Xi so far: Getting my big Jordan!

Fun Fact: I am a superb Piano Tiles player (the app).

Two Truths and a Lie: I once dropped my phone into three feet of snow and couldn’t find it for eight hours… but it still worked when I finally did! I have one foot that is an inch bigger than the other. I had my jaw wired shut for eight weeks in high school. Which one do you think is the lie?

...So the third one is a lie- I only had my jaw wired shut for 6 weeks!

If You Could Live in any TV Show What Would it be? Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Something I’m obsessed with currently is: The color light pink, Anthropologie home goods and dainty necklaces.

A fashion trend I most definitely want to die and one I want to never die is:

Ok, I’m sorry everyone I know they’re comfy, but Nike shorts have got to go! And I absolutely love silks!

My last meal would be: Thanksgiving dinner!

Something on my bucket list is: Driving an awesome car down the autobahn in Germany.

My celebrity spirit animal is: Katy Belotte- not your typical celebrity but she’s #YouTubeFamous.

A weird quirk I have is: I can only have the radio volume on a number ending in a 5 or a 0.

Three things that make me happy: My deaf dog, natural lighting and great bedding.

What you’re most excited about in 2018: My Textile and Apparel classes! I’m so psyched to learn how to sew complete outfits.
